The View From Here

From the County Route 4 trip yesterday at the most admirable look-back spot, starting with the impressive white cloud just left of center and reading from left to right:
^ Ptarmigan Peak
^ Mount Andrews
^ The dome-like one is Mount Craig (Grand Lake's "Baldy")
^ The last, highest bump over there is in the right place for Isolation Peak, which is a 13-er. The others are 12's.
^^ The two lower mountains in the middle between us an the big ones includes Shadow Mountain on the left. At full resolution, you can see the observation tower on its peak. That observation tower looks down on Grand Lake, which is on the far side from this viewpoint. I spread out the map and could draw a straight line from the curve in the road I was on, through the observation tower, on to a point just left of Mount Andrews.
