Blue Angel
We got to see part of the Lincoln Air Show. My boss had an open house and they live at Capitol Beach with a good view of the airfield. Beautiful day for it. The Red Barons biplane group was first. Lots of loop-de-loops in formation with smoke trails. We were late for another picnic, but we stayed to see the first part of the Blue Angels show. Wow. That's a lot of horsepower.

Kind of makes one long for the days when "war" meant flying out to drop bombs on communists and Nazis, not trying to keep people from flying planes into buildings in our cities.
If only we could get terrorists to come to our airshows, maybe then they would realize they don't stand a chance.
