Then and Now

A neat Flickr group recently discovered is Then and Now. Members find an old picture of something and then go to the same place and take a picture from today. So I went to the Library of Congress American Memory online archive and searched for "Lincoln Nebraska." And there is a picture from 1934 of the William Jennings Bryan house at 1625 D Street, right on the walk home.

Wow, that is cool! Can you find some more for us? (I know I could visit myself, but I like your choices)...
Wow, I just love what they did with it ... not.
Speaking of W. J. Bryan, my Grandpa Larson was an orderly for WJB during the Spanish American War.
